Hey all, well the 40gb hdd in my joybook is ratshit, now i am stuck with a dilemma, i don't know how to get the old hdd out and put in a new one, do i have to take the whole bottom panel off or is there a method for quick access, any help will be greatly appreciated.

There should be seperate panels under your laptop one for the memory and one for HDD. You dont have to take off the whole underside.

i don't suppose you or anyone else can supply pics? i'm a laptop virgin LOL, so this is guesswork at best.

i got it, the little bastard had one screw that i couldn't see, but once i got that out it was no problem, thanks for the input.
