Almost a call for beer - Celebrating my first week as a pro...

Well... calling myself a pro is subjective, but as of this week, (actually last week when I had my first shoot) I'm getting paid for my photography. Tomorrow I have my first major client (the government) which is very exiting for me, as it's regular, and pays nicely, for relatively 'straight forward' work.

Anyway, I just wanted to say I'm finally out there, and it feels fantastic to be working for something I really enjoy!

While I'm also saying so, I'm quite happy with the first shoot. It was a simple portrait, and was done for free (first client) but the printing is a cost, so they pay for that... But the results are quite good... I can see where I can improve, but considering I was flying solo with people who had no experience in front of a camera, the results certainly worked.

Now I need some glamour models. ^_~

In any case, I'm finally starting! WOOT!
