Default Got a new phone, Telstra plastered all over it

I got a new phone/plan today from Telstra because Dad had his stolen. I gave him my old phone, and put my Optus SIM in this new one (Nokia 6120). It all seems to be going well, but the thing is absolutely plastered with Telstra branding and services. I don't want em. Is there any way I can flash it with it's original, non-branded firmware or something?

Almost everything in the software can be changed from Telstra by changing the Theme and the Shortcuts - I thing the only thing you can't change is the shut down animation.

It's been a while since I've really played around with that side of it, but with the Sony Ericsson P Series Symbian devices (the 6120 being Symbian too) you could change that if you had an animation in the right format and knew where to put it and how to get access to that part of the phone.

You can change it by replacing it, but not through the settings

you can do it. you have to change the phones product code and then reflash the phones firmware. I did it with my vodafone branded e61 because there was a bug in email notifications.
