Default High Powered Monolight

Has anyone played with highpowered monolights for indoor and outdoor use. Something powerfull enough to use outside in the sun?

So far the whitelightning x series looks tempting.

x1600 and x3200 in particular as they can operate in a reduced powermode for faster recycling.

I'd love to hear on more options/opinions.

Nice, the sliding reflector and handle are a great idea. At the moment that's the kind of kit I'd hire when needed. Looking for something a little easier on the wallet to kick around with

Looking into Ronnie's monolights atm.

yeah they're great... we got them hooked up to two Profoto Pro-7b batteries (so we can do location shoots), a beauty dish and grills, a softbox and an 8ft umbrella, and a Profoto ProRing....

best part i've used them once in 6 months.. haha... but we just got some studio space so I hope to get to play a bit more... might make a few extra bucks doing some simple headshots and so forth...
