Default Wii Drive Problems

Well after 3 weeks of use, now my Wii pulls a disc in, ejects it, takes it back in itself, then totally spits it out.

A quick search on Google and YouTube revealed a plethora of problems that people are having with the DVD drive on their Wiis so I'm definitely not alone (although no-one seems to be having my exact symptoms, a lot of them seem much worse like scratching the discs or not pulling them in at all).

Has anyone else had issues?

All of the links I found including the official page say that if it ejects discs immediately, it must go back to Nintendo to be repaired. Damnit! I was looking forward to using it over Xmas!
