Question Nokia 6120 Classic Question

Hi guys,

with the nokia 6120 classic ... is it possible to associate files with user installed programs? ... eg: i installed a program called core player which lets me play different formats and codecs of files .... so id like to be able to jsut go into the phones file manager and click on the file to open it thru the program ... this is possible for formats native to the phone eg: mk4 opens in real player ... so yea is this possible ? and if so wat would i need to change?

iv tried google with no success...

thanks

Haven't tried it just yet, but I'm pretty sure that Y-Browser (free file browser) can change file attributes. Not sure if it lets you change file associations too (or if that's the same thing in s60).

When my phone comes back (left in car ) I'll try it out and see =)

well obviously it isn't, because like any computer OS, you can install a new app and have a new file type, which is only recognised by the new app
