Default DOCtype.. Do you use it?

For people who make web pages and websites do you use the doctype? What doctype do you use for what purpose?

the funny thing about stupidity is that the people who refer to others as stupid believe that we are all constant and this just is, and we dont learn and grow.. people aren't stupid, they just havent evolved as far

HTML 4.01 Strict is what I use.

There's no need to go to the xhtml way.

If you don't use a doctype, or are aware of it's importance; you should refrain immediately from writing markup.

you should be using the doctypes ... browsers render pages without anything, but thats a terrible excuse for leaving it out.
