I saw this thing a while back where a guy converted a TV remote signal into an audio file, and then he played it back on his mp3 player or mobile phone and it could turn off any TV.
Just wondering does anyone know where i could find this audio file? ![]() Searched google couldn't find it. |

Yeah you convert the infrared signal into a sound using some device plugged into PC. I think they use a PDA with some software somehow in this walkthrough, but i think the one i saw originally was just plugged into the PC.
i've found this page which has the info, it turns out you need to plug some infrared adapter into the headphone jack on your mp3 player. But anyway it can be done, i thought you could just play the sound and it would work. http://features.engadget.com/2004/07...emote-control/ |
