What do you in ur carputer?

Hi guys

Looking to build a Car putter and looking for what software are people using for frontrow.

I want to be able to do following things on the carputter:

Watch Videos (xvid/dvds)
Play Songs with visualisations
Sync my collection using Wifi(this can be done manually)
Gps Navigation
Audio Gateway for Mobile Phones

Things i might like to add in future:
Reverse Camera
Watch TV

Stuff i already have lying around.

12v Mini-Itx Box with 320Gb HDD
1gb USB Drive
Wifi Card
Usb Bluetooth
Laptop DVD-RW drive
Bluetooth GPS module
Usb Numpad
Also have 1.8HDD to IDE convertor
7" LCD with VGA (not a touchscreen)

Ideally i would like to run OS from USB Drive and then use HDD for storege purposes. Also would like to control it using minimal buttons using numpad, but would like to add remote control to using IR. I want to stay away from Touch Screen coz i want to spend minimal on the system.

Any suggestiong and Critisicm is welcomed. But looking for real life experiences from personal use.

i suggest formatting the 320GB into 2 partitions, a 20gb for your operating system, programs etc etc....
then the 300 for music, videos, etc etc.
theres plenty of carputer software out there, some free... but your better off paying for one thats worth it for the extra features.

I cancelled my idea of CARPUTTER. Just bought a double din DVD player as my new phone can do GPS and it also comes with bluetooth handsfree. So didn`t needed the CARPUTTER, but would like to come back to it after finishing my home server.
