What form factor is a D530 mobo ? Can I mod the case ?

Hi guys , I have a D530 here that I like the size of , but the 2.66GHz p4 is 32bit so it wont run Vista 64bit for me . I have been searching for info and there doesnt seem to be much , so does anyone know if a micro atx mobo will fit this case ? What do I do with the odd power supply ? Can I run an atx outside the case ? Does anyone even make a decent mATX power supply ? Most very small cases have very small power supplies too , so this kind of limits my options in this regard .

Any help would be great.

I have a few of these at work. Unfortunately they are a proprietary mobo and SFF case so you wont be able to fit much in there without modding.

Thanks mate , I knew someone here would know . Its actually not bad as a net box while the other machine is benching .

I use one as a test box at work. They go OK running XP. The only problem I have had is getting 2 GB of RAM for it is expensive as it uses DDR1. You can squeeze 2 HDD's in there if you lose the floppy (1 Sata and 1 IDE). They have been pretty reliable actually.

Ive got 2GB in mine as it was left over from one of my 939 boxes that fried a mobo late last year.

Have you got the plastic clip on stand for it? They look pretty cool as a mini tower standing on their side.

Nah I wanted one but its lifting my monitor up atm so it doesnt matter .
