Default The Simple Snacks Sticky Thread!

Ok, this forum is for recipes, but quite a few of the "recipes" we've been seeing aren't really worth having a whole thread for (despite how yummy they are). So, this thread is for all those basic 2 or 3 ingredient things.

Default THE BEST GAMING FOOD EVER. FULL STOP.

One of my best mates and I came up with this one a few years ago during some late night xbox sessions. There was nothing in the fridge at the time, so we created this 'concoction'.

You need:

- Sliced bread
- Cheese (normal cheap stuff like Coon or Home Brand)
- Sweet Chilli Sauce
- Portable Grill or Oven
- Cheese Slicer or Peeler

Method:

1. Take a piece of bread
2. Slice cheese on to the bread
3. Place under grill until cheese is golden brown and bubbly
4. Spread some sweet chilli sauce over the top while still hot (not too much)
5. Eat immediately

Sounds gross I know, but it is oh so good for a quick fix.

Try it! My mate liked them so much, he bought one of those mini grills for his bedroom so he could make them in the same room as the xbox.

doesn't sound well suited for gaming, the sauce can drip all over the joint
if however you use 2 pieces of bread in a sandwich press, that would be superior

nah the sandwich press is no good

The cheese doesn't go slightly crispy, and it goes soggy ( = yuk)

The trick is to use precisely the right amount of sweet chilli sauce such that it doesn't slop everywhere. It takes a bit of practice.

Is tomato sauce a good substitute for those that are allergic to chilli's or dislike spicy food?

Am I missing something here, or is this a cheese toasty with sweet chilli sauce on top? How the hell is this a recipe?

Maybe I'll put up a recipe for fruit salad, with ice cream on top.

Can't say, never tried it! Only ever had it with sweet chilli sauce. If you're game, give it a go.

This sounds more like a shitfaced meal, can't imagine making this sober.

Other intoxicated ideas;
Cheese + Mayo + Rice + Microwave
Rice + Sauce
Bread dipped in milk
Baked beans + Chicken salt.

Jatz and a dip of your choice.

Best gaming drink = white russian: shot of vodka, shot of Kahlua, lots of ice, some milk
