Default Using a windows Mobile based GPS as a PC receiver

Hi

I was wondering if this was even possible.

I have an old pda based gps here. Was thinking rather than upgrade it, if it was possible to somehow use it as a reciever for a pc based GPS.

Out of the box it doesnt seem to be possible, however, i havent looked very far yet.

Anyone heard of this being done?

Perhaps look at Franson's GPSGate (http://franson.com/gpsgate/), it has a bluetooth server (see http://franson.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3968).

that sounds interesting, the unit doesnt have bluetooh, however the software mentions via active sync, so I might look into it
