Default m1730 with 8800mgtx

Dell has started selling dual 8800mgtx in US. Any idea when will it be available here in Aus ???

im waiting for a XPS 1530 with the new penryn CPU's and 8800MGTX

i don't think i'd need dual 8800MGTX

Although it's nice to think it I don't think the 8800m gtx will be available on the m1530.

I would certainly buy one though with penryn and 8800m gtx

well they're bound to come to a 15" notebook of some sort,

alienware have one, but im not willing to pay that much for their brand.

around 3k, and im there.

It is already available on dell US website.

You have seen how thick their brick of a laptop is though havn't you? I have a feeling that Dell would have to redesign the m1530 = bigger case = uglier.

Id give it a few weeks, it usually takes about 2 weeks for stuff on there to come here.

I wouldn't mind them taking there time adding the 8800M GTX. I still got 7 or so months left on my Toshiba laptop lease, I don't want to be tempted to pay it out early

Just noticed they now offer the M1730 with T9300 and 8800M GTX SLI

Just snapped one up

Dual 512mb 8800M in SLI $3875 Dammit

Looks like I'll stick with the 8700M

Dell has their performance gaming notebook in the XPS M1730, for the amount that it would cost for them to design a notebook that would take the 8800M GTX it would not be worth it due the small market the laptop would cater to
