Default Asus FCSC-1AAP Notebook Problems.

Hi, i have two identical new notebooks here which came preinstalled with Vista Business. The client wants XP on them instead and i'm having issues getting it installed.

There is a Windows XP Pro recovery CD which i tried, also a Vista recovery one but (When using the XP Pro disc) after you get past 2 prompt screens a massive childish red 'ERROR' message which fills the entire screen appears. There is no such error using the Vista disc.

I tried booting from my own copy of XP just to see if it'd work but i got a the same message which appears if you don't press F6 to install the HDD's on a RAID controller.

Why is it so damned difficult to "Downgrade" these notebooks?
