A lot of shaking and about half have dissolved back, so is this something to worry about? Film turned out fine so I guess it's ok for now, just curious that's all.
With anything else, I'd be sus. But its rodinal, maybe run a clip test?

Yeah I did run a roll through anyway, seems to be fine. I normally keep the bottles on top of a fridge so perhaps the heat from the radiator has done something to it. Bizzare indeed.

This happens with some developers, including colour stuff, typically the solution is to warm it to about ~40c in a bath of water, and give it a very good stirring till it re-dissolves.

Spot the difference. Pinhole vs Speed Graphic. 4x5 Tmax 100 in Rodinal 1:50.

Yup yup. I guess it was fairly obvious. I just wanted to show them alongside. Pinhole brings a mood with it.

Yeah vignetting, not so sharp, movement from long exposure...plus in this case the wider angle works better and cos the pinhole is so light and blows away in the wind I put it on the ground with something on top...the low angle without out of focus areas in the foreground has a look to it.

I've got some XTOL stock solution that's about 11 months old now. Has been stored in light proof and air compressed bottles. From memory XTOL is meant to last 6 months in stock form. Is it a throw away at this stage?

Just did a bit of searching around and it appears it's an on or off developer. Need to use test strips to be sure.

Can anyone recommend what Canon Film SLR I should get?

I've been trying to find a Canon EOS 30V as it seems to be the most recent (and most featured) film SLR and it has the ETTL-II so if i want to do any work with canon flashes that might be handy...

But I'm not at all familiar with film camera's so I'm open to suggestions as to what to get...

I've got 10x Lucky SHD100 135-36 -B&W film ASA 100 PAN I bought of ebay that I want to experiment with (I'm thinking of trying some seascape shots with it), and a one of the local pro photographers (who shot my wedding) has offered (when we were picking up our wedding photos) to teach me how to develop some black and white film and make some black and white prints... :-D

I've also found out that my Sigma 10-20mm will work on a full frame at >14mm (below that it vignettes) so that'll be great as my shortest EF lens is my 50mm f/1.8 which is a bit wide for seascape shots... :-)

Well the Xtol is surviving rather well albeit yellow and some crystals formed. Below is 6:45 stock on Tri-X 35mm.

Olympus OM-1. Certainly not as feature packed as you might like but it's the best camera I've ever used. Above is taken with the OM-1.
