Default Laptop PSU grounding

I just bought a latop. The power supply has a three pin connecter. the clover type. In the manual there is all these warnings about having it grounded properly or else death and destuction.

Im just worried as im taking it to japan. and once i get an appropriate adaptor it wont be grounded properly as japanese plugs just have two pins. Will the PSU not being grounded stop it from working? (not so worried about death and destruction moreso it not working at all)

Thanks for any help
