Hey guys I'm in the market for a new mp3 player, I've used a 20 GB ipod and a 1 GB ipod nano and they were both great, apart from the 20GB breaking so easily.
I want something with a minimum of 8 GB and have never steered away from ipod's, it's my instinct to go for the ipod nano 8 GB. But is there better devices out there? Something with a convienient drag and drop mp3 file method as apose to itunes. |

i just bought what i think is one of the best mp3 players i can get. a cowon iAudio 7.
4/8/16gb flash memory (mine is 16gb) flac lossless drag and drop wolfson DA chip read about it, apparently it has one of the best sound quality out of all mp3 players, i know it most certainly shits all over my brothers ipod ![]() i bought mine for $300 off of ebay (from america), but in adelaide here they have them in like 1 shop for $500ish (16gb). would be good to have a look at also, a good website for you to look at would be www.anythingbutipod.com they have lots of reviews and stuff on other mp3 players.

Thats a very nice looking player, the superior audio quality is definitely an attractive attribute. So to throw mp3's onto this device, is it a simple drag and drop into the folder method? No converting required? I'm very interested in this iAudio7.

I Love the Creative ZEN Vision:M. 30gb
It plays mp3 and wma so i don't need to covert any of my music. Also it doubles as a movie player, as you can hook it up to a TV. It's HDD based though.

That cowon iAudio thing looks nice, especially if you want sound quality.
If you don't care so much about sound quality - most phones these days do a decent job of playing mp3s.... And it means you don't need to carry around 2 devices... I've also heard ok things about sandisks line of mp3 players... |
