Seems like quite a few are holding out for the X2's.

could i ask you what the difference between the x38/x48 series? i'm struggling to find why i would want to pay more for the x48 unless i wanted to run about 1200mhz ram speeds.. i want a good xfire board for these puppies...
just noticed you were running the x48 board i looked at.. but thinking of going for ga-ex38-ds4 ('ex' for extra lan port) unless your about to change my mind? =)

There's not much difference between them AFAIK. Mainly the "guarenteed" FSB speed which the X38 can probably hit anyway, if you needed to go that high.
Shouldn't we have a new driver by now? I guess maybe i'm used to nVidia releasing a driver every fortnight... kinda getting antsy

yeah i want stable and official drivers...
well my board has 2 ethernet/lan ports if that helps 8 usb ports on the mobo itself plenty of ocing settings. check out the intel thread for oc's and look at my results with the board. you can get these x48 boards for about 230-250 in the right places i picked mine up for $245 (not very cheap but i really wanted one yesterday arvo). only issue is u set vcore in the bios and it comes lower in windows but then the droops only like .2 and theres no fluctuation after that

there all still reference so, everything should be the same apart from the few bios differences (not clock speed) (fan settings / powerplay*powersaving*) and the extras they come with. Biggest difference would be the sticker on it
