I heard somewhere that the Q6600 G0 had some heating issues? can anyone back this up or dismiss it for me?

Heating issues? If anything, G0 is a much more heat effiecient chip in comparison to the other revision (B3). I've had no such problem with my G0.

As mentioned above, no faults like this exist.
Quad cores get hotter than dual core cpu's for obvious reasons, nothing to do with any faults you may of heard of. |

Nope, it's a 65nm chip though so they tend to have more heat as oppose to a 45nm chip but other than that, nothing wrong with the heat sensors in the Q6600.
