Proxy Server & OCAU, why?

OK...hi peoples,

for a while my access to OCAU forums has been somewhat dodgy (definately not at this end, rather at my end). In my address bar i have a link directly to the forums (http://forums.overclockers.com.au) and also a link to the main page. I can always access the main page, but most of the time i can't get into the forums (regardless of whether i come directly here or through the main page). I keep getting a screen with the grid box with what has happened , the possible causes and the possible fixes inside it (i'm using IE. 6). So for the majority of the time i've only accessed the forums when IE let me do so, today i got sick of it and had a fiddle with my proxy server settings. I set it up so my proxy server isn't used when accessing the forums, and voila, it worked and now i can access the forums eveytime.
Anyone know why this happens and how i can fix it?

Yeah I got the same prob, but it only works sometimes when I disable the proxy
