epox 8k7a+ BM drivers??

ive been having trouble installing the via busmaster drivers....

every time i do, using the latest ones off the epox website, win2k chucks a blue screen at me on reboot saying 'inaccassable boot device'

wtf is going on??

im running win2ksp2 btw and all 4 of my drives are running off the main ide controllers, not the raid controller

For the VIA Southbridge you don't have to install ANYTHING from the CD. Because ME and W2K have already basic VIA busmaster included. They work, believe me, and many peeps think they work better than the busmaster from the VIA driver set.

I did install them just to see if they run any faster, but they dont

been wrestling with these damned things all morning...got it to work ok but it still wont pick up my cdrw....back to the MS drivers i say
