Centrino 1.73ghz
2 x 512mb Microdimm
ATi Mobility 9200
13.3" Xbrite WS LCD

i'm thinking of upgrading my S to a SZ this year, but i'm a little biased towards the wedged design sony has thought up for the new SZ's. I also prefer the curves on my S series, big dilemma now as my laptop will be my only computing device when I move back.

does anyone know if sony are releasing any montevina platformed notebooks in the near future? i'm already trying to sell my current S vaio to get a SZ, but i don't wanna kick myself later if the montevina ones get released a week after i get my penryn based ones.

dayum the Z series looks like the TZ but in 13.3"/13.1" with bluray! Dream laptop!

Hi, There are actual photos of the SR Series on the following site. These were captured at an electronic store website, but has since been taken down, because it was not meant to be posted to begin with. Hope this helps in your curiosity, however there has been no photos of the Z series in circulation.

I think you may have to register to actually view images. Images are on the second posts of page 42 and throughout this thread. If you read and look through the entire thread, they show more photos and further discussion and information on the 2008 Sony Vaio Models: FW, SR, and Z Series.

Wait for the Z series, it will be launched in the USA either July or August '08 and its to replace the SZ, which will be a 13.1 LED Screen and Blu-Ray.
