OKay bumping back to the main page...

Also, Eddie is back from his mid-year break to Casta del Fuego, so he will be back in fine form at 10.30am in the morning.

Although the website is not yet updated, expect deals on the following:

9600GT's & 8800GT's (probably bundled with the AOC 22" LCD's, $300 for the 96GT and $350 for the 88GT is my best guess)

Geil RAM clearout

Antec 900 Craziness

Samsung 750GB drives at $100ea (Must buy two) and $105ea on Sunday & rest of the week

E8400 and Q9450 at the cheapest non-bundled price anywhere.

what's a cheap 775 mobo that can run dual video cards? and OC also...

I might need to give my farm a slight update if I want to knock rubberband off his seat.

Assman is it possible to fold on two cards in the same system? Haven't heard much on that area yet.

I was going to ask if it was possible to GPU fold on those cheap PSU's, but I bit my tounge

Sticking to my guns on 'quality PSUs' in the Corsair HX-620 has paid off. Only need to literally dump in 3x 88GT's for 12Kppd boost.

88GT's require a 6-pin PCIe power plug. 98GTX+ will require TWO... and these PSU's have them.

The Nvidia Client doesn't currently have the ability to run multi GPU but Stanford are working on it.

Will be interesting when they get it going for all those people who can just disable SLI and run to clients. Will be even better if they get SLI'ed GPU's to run it.

I'm not sure to be honest....... but I don't see why not?, I mean we can do it with dual CPU's.

mits:
I already own four 88GT's

my 500watt generics take on my PC fine (Q66 + 88GT). Not sure about two 88GT's.

-------------------------------------

so does anyone have recommendations for a dual video card mobo?

Yeah I know it doesn't work under sli yet, I meant running a client on each card, as assman just sort of mentioned.

Ok nice cheap dual 16x slot but only 16x/4x connections would be the ASUS P5K-Pro (P35) Board but I'm not sure how the 4x would afect folding. Nice price starting around $140 for a folding boxen.

Otherwise there is the ASUS P5N-D (750i) board that has 16x/16x slots as well as being able to do SLI if needed. Is a bit dearer as well though starts from about $185 on staticice.

The FTW edition by something or other, based on the lowly nV 750i chipset does two vid cards - IIRC it's aimed at being the cheapest SLI capable mobo, but it's still on the wrong side of $AU250.

That would be the EVGA 750i FTW Edition. Very nice board, had some early problems with BIOS's etc but it's getting better.
