Default Question for iphone users

Hey all,

Just a question for those that have a Iphone
Its been on the cards lately to get one, but was wondering what plan everyone is on?
i'm on a $79 optus cap atm, but will i need more of a data plan, to do the net thing etc to cater for it?

there are no iPhone plans in Australia. Everyone that is using an iphone here imported from America and hacked the phone in order to use it. iPhones are not due to oficially hit our shores few a few months.

He is asking what plans people are using them on over here, not whether you can buy an "iPhone plan".

if you want a data plan you cant beat 3 with x series atm.

ironically, 3 is the only network you can't use the iphone on.

next gen iphone is rumoured to be 3G compatible, and will be released mid - late june, personally i'll be waiting for that.

Yeh, you are right, thats exactly what i was asking

I was looking at the hiptop plan, unlimited data, sms, mms etc for $30 a month. Only downfall is the price of phone calls

Either that or i know optus has a $79 blackberry cap plan - unlimited internet browsing, blackberry email + $300 worth of calls, but im guessing you can only use it for blackberries. hopefully not

iPhone is GPRS only so the NextG won't work with it.

iSim prepaid (no data)

Been thinking about switching over to the Virgin post-paid plan with data.

Just making the point that the posts in here don't warrant octy's response
