What do you use to clean a laptops screen?
I have a matte screen personally, and am wondering the best way to clean it without damaging the screen

Thanks

With Macs (I don't know about others) you get a cloth with them, It works well. DSE have some wipes specially for laptop screens also.

Are these the ones your talking about because I know they say they are suitable for laptop screens and LCD's but they are pretty moist.

I have a gloss screen, just wipe it with a piece of cotton cloth when dirty. Done that with all my laptop screen, didn't damage any.

Go to officeworks and get the Rogge Duo Clean spray + cloth. About $20 or so. Works very very well. I use it on my 3 LCDs + Laptop and also to do my case, keyboard, mouse, etc

My XPS M1330 came with a cloth, I just use that. Seem to be using it every 5 minutes though

2 things for my lappy screen

a) a couple of deep breaths nice and close to the screen to fog it up good - all the moisture you need
b) serviette (or paper napkin or whatever you call them)

gets rid of all that skin grease from f*ken twerps touching my screen. Gets it absolutely spotless. Oh and of course clean when its off so you can see crap on it properly

All that cleaning shit is just like spectacle-cleaning solutions... unnecessary.
