I'm having trouble with getting the Wireless to work on this laptop. I've had it a couple of years now, and it's always just had XP Home on it but recently I got around to formatting it and put XP Pro on it. I also finally just got around to getting a wireless router. Finally, the crux of the problem is:- I can't get wireless to work. I have the right drivers, but it's not even showing up in Device Manager. Anyone have any ideas? |

I have the same laptop, bought from here on OCAU on one of their sponsor specials.
When you restore from the recovery partition with XP Home, does wireless work fine? I upgraded to the latest version of the WLAN driver from the MSI website and it still works fine in XP Home.

On your notebook near the power button should be 4 small buttons. If there is one there labelled "P1" or has a small satelitte try pushing this
