Experiences with - GPU Client 2 (Nvidia)

I was looking around and found the GPU2 Leaked beta, and have been running it for most of the afternoon and oh my gosh am i surprised. I have an Intel Core 2 E8400 running @ stock and am use to a lowsy amount of progress per day. I started the GPU client and i can now watch the client for entertainment purposes due to the speed (Running on a Sparkle 8800GT 512mb @ Stock). Here is a screen shot of my system:

While i type this post, the client is speeding away, out of the 5000 Progress points i have completed 50% in less than 35mins, the client is super fast and waiting on more jobs to see how it handles them.

This client is now outdated by the official beta release (below)

Acouple of issues i find:
- Changing windows or opening applications is slow
- Have to wait long periods of time when changing window focus (XP)
- Viewer is very slow, causes issues with windows
- About 20% CPU to run viewer
- Reporting 50% to run GPU client

+ Who cares, it's kicking BUTT!

I have to stick another hdd in and install 32bit windows just to give it a go on my 9800gx2

I am assuming it will only use 1 core if it does work at all.

I was just thinking the same thing.

Although i wont say much because i do think he puts in an effort in the folding community, Just happends what we dont agree with what he says a lot of the time!

you seem to get better results if you use the viewer.exe inside of the archieve, the standard built in one seems to not be working 20,0000/0 ???

but in terms of doing real work or not, i dont think it's actually sending *pointable* work back

this is a stolen beta if you will. it's good to see how quick it runs though.
