Tried a race before with the tall gear set on my setup but I think it made me a bit slower (could only get sub 22s when drafting). Might try the next with tall oval again to compare.

Decided to sacrifice my table position for S.R. this week.

Edit: well so much for that plan! K/O'd lap 8. When the spotter says 'Stay high', he means it. I wish the other driver listened.

was a good race before that though, i think i went something silly like 8 laps on the outside of john before i finally got the pass done at the start

Got a run in the F1 race before, was good though I was at the back (literally woke up, 5min later was in the warmup for my first laps). Had 12x by the end of the first 3 laps because of people dive bombing and losing it under braking.

Eventually made it 17 laps in then lost it so will happily walk away with 12th!

Man it's a different level up there.

Anyone raced in the Proto + GT Fixed series this week? My session tracker has been saying 'no races today, they're on tomorrow' since Wednesday...

I can't help ya there mate. Just scored myself an i5 2500k so am currently doing the whole reinstall thing so can't even check it

Just as I really 'got' the OTM, it went away and I lost it. So about 3 weeks ago I made an effort to re-learn how to drive with the NTM and I reckon I'm understanding it better now.

(Just worked out you can highlight a chunk of the graph on a profile page and see al results within that timeframe. Cool!)
