I took the 3 months for $12 and got a free Skippy when i picked up iRacing.
Have a look around to see if that deal is still available?

Finally gave up on FFB on my wheel today. I've never thought it felt right and drove for years without it on my momo. I got the shits when it kept unsettling the car on the bumps at IOWA, and i run it on a very low level. Turned it off and its like the bumps arent even there, the car just glides over them. Added a bit of centering force in the drivers and i find im much more precise with my inputs.
Most of the time i was just fighting against the FFB anyways |

Logitech i assume?
That was the first thing i noticed when i changed to the Fanatec. The FFB was not attempting to rip my arms off on the smallest of bumps anymore lol.

6.45pm Mustangs anyone?
HAHA! Yeah nice of some idiot to give me a 4x on the warm up lap, had to slow to let the leader pass or I would have got black flagged and he smashed into my rear. Car was fine luckily. The guy was accelerating up behind me and braking late all the way through the warm up to try and intimidate me I assume and I was just waiting for some stupid crap to happen. He spun on the 3rd lap. All up though I came 2nd so not too bad. Last edited by marty_s13; 9th June 2012 at 7:54 PM. |

So had a bit of spare time and decided to paint up a Star Mazda.
This is the result so far. ![]() iRacingSim_2012_06_09_23_37_23_287 by Rhettro Photography, on Flickr ![]() iRacingSim_2012_06_09_23_39_44_913 by Rhettro Photography, on Flickr

That's not a bad paint job mate. Updating trading paints now and looking forward to seeing you in a race to catch how it looks.

That's looks great krusty, nice job. What program are you using to create those paint jobs? I'm half tempted to give it a crack (and fail).

PS Start with basic colours then as you get better you can start doing more with it, watch some youtube videos on how to use it and it is quite easy after awhile.. If you are looking for Logos I use www.seeklogo.com and if you can not find it on there, then you search further using old mate Google.

Looks good, the internode logo looks a bit out of place with the grey though. A transparent one would look better I think and if the wording gets lost in the paint job just leave the main orange logo and get rid of the text.

yeah looks awesome!
Tried the rope idea to make my chair stable. Doesn't really work, too hard to get the right tension when tying it up and it still tilts back a bit. Think I'll just leave it recalibrated for the Mustang, seems to be working well. Speaking of Mustang, anyone for the 4.45 and 6.45 sessions today? |
