So you can change your name in iracing if you don't want to use your real name can't you? I have a mate that is trying to sign up for the free 6 months but he doesn't like the fact you have to use you real name. I told him you can email them and change it which is correct isn't it?

He also invited me to a rfactor 2009 F1 mod series he runs on thursday night which I might join. Could be a bit different.

That could be fun! I changed my name without problem and shortened it, dunno how they feel about changing names altogether - unless you're a real driver and want to go incognito.

He's sort of a real driver. Won Australian drift championships and stuff in America and Japan. I don't think he wants to change it for that reason though, just isn't all that comfortable about having his details around the place. I guess I can understand.

Haha I know, but thankfully he likes lots of motorsports, always been a freak at sims. Always used to kick my arse back in the day. Should be great if I can get him on board.

Going to do 5.30 street stocks for anyone that's keen.

EDIT: another race where I was taken out by an idiot and ended up losing more SR. I think its going to be harder to get my D license that I thought!

Can anyone connect right now? tried to join the 6.30 session, it ticked down to 1 sec and now the page is unresponsive

I got into test session ok.

I managed to get into the session and start from the pits. Result was OK in the end but the site is still running like a dog.

EDIT: now says down for maintenance. I wonder if the results of the race are still valid. Seemed to go down immediately after.
