One thing I've noticed is that if you register early for a race when the session is ready, I think it attracts more drivers to it before it goes live. So when they see (3) or whatever, they think it has a chance of going official and jump in.
Yeah I try and do this sometimes!

Just remember a couple of funnies from the mustang race last night. One was an american calling new zealanders new zealishlanders or something equally hilarious and a newbie who sounded about 10 freaking out about blinking cars. Oh my.

Marty, Mate - just been badly beaten by a girl/women/female of the species homo-sapiens -> now that was farkin hilarious.

homo-verticalus = 1, homo-erectus=0

Karin Koelenberg. Either Dutch or German, most likely Dutch. Jeesh, but she can handle an MX-5....respek.

With that said,my SR is now 3.68,and another race just about to start.

It's OK, that's the yank I clobbered on the first lap. By which I mean he was beside me, the spotter gave me the OK and then he said he saw my car in his cockpit. Only a 0x though so worked for me!

I loved how that kid was blaming everyone for blinking when his ping was over 1000...

Beano, you're tearing it up! C class in no time. Might be good to have a think about what you'd like to race (tintops, prototypes or openwheelers) so you can plan purchases. You can get in to B class by only buying a couple of cars (fast tracking your license by hitting 4.0) - I did this but I often regret it. Be sure to balance your ascent through the ranks with actual track time/experience!

A bit like playing your scales for years before being able to rock out. But I'm sure you'll be blasting through that with your previous sim time.

Yeah go Mr. Bean!

I think I'll go for the 8.15 V8 race but if that is a shocker or it doesn't go official I'll do the 10.15 as well.

Ah-first I need to learn how to handle pressure - blegh.

Was leading the first 12 out of 20 laps, and had a serious brainfart, which resulted in a total 2:05 pitstop. Still came 2nd overall, but damn, if only

The guy chasing me never gave up, and badly T-boned me - mostly my fault, and he was pretty decent accepting the apology.

Shit happens, but learning as we go.

Good advice, Matt, thanx - want to try and get SR over 4, so I can get D-class - will stick to that for a month +, so I can really gain experience. Will be slow from end August onwards, as I still have 4 trips to Europe before end Nov.

Just watching a replay of the motoGP at laguna seca. Those guys are insane. I have a hard enough time in a sim driving a land barge. Flying into the braking zone at turn 2 and the corkscrew, mind blowing.

Over fuelling not a big deal for me as a I do the same times with 5L or 50L on board lol, YMMV.
That was oing to be my strategy but I failed to notice that the strat I had set in the warmup had been reset to 75l. Then in panic in pit lane couldn't change it in time.

I'll run up a spectator session on the 8:45pm fellas, there in spirit. Unfortunately it turns out my wife and daughter have a nasty virus and high temps. So much so that the doctor wrote a carers certificate for me until next Wednesday, I only found out after work. Dayam I'm tired too.

That's a shame Nick! Family first!

So I'm planning on running on full fuel at the end of which lap should I make a top up? 6?
