Nowhere near enough for Blizzard to change their mind. Besides, I'm sure they would have done their research. They are attempting to keep it dark but with colour, and I believe they've done that. They can go all the way one end of the spectrum (WoW) or all the way the other end (the 'after' shots) or they can please on the whole more players with what they've done.

If you can get a couple of hundred thousand or even million signatures on that petition, it might cause a bit of a stir. Right now, though? Keep dreaming.

And with 29,000 signatures and growing do you really think blizzard will not take notice of this and take it into consideration?

They will of course be aware of this, but I don't believe it's at the stage where they will actually "alter their artistic direction" away from the clean and shinny direction it's currently headed. I'm not saying they wont, but I'm saying right now, no. Not enough negative feedback.

You must be WoW player coming from you avatar, You actually think the before picture is better? Too me it sounds like you are just copy and pasting what everyone else has said on here without actually knowing what you are talking about.

The increase in contrast makes up for the lack of brightness, plus a diablo game should be dark but light enough to see and this after picture is perfect for that and there is no +80% brown filter you douche. If you have a closer look there are actually more blues and green hues to the picture.

If Blizzard change their art direction based on that petition, then I will be downloading the inevitable user created mod that makes the game viewable again.

I love what you've done. It's silly to be able to see everything in the painting at once. You've made it so you can only see the detail when you're near it. Brilliant. You've also given a sorely needed dark gothic feel and taken away the cartoonish colour that DaVinci originally had. It makes you realise, if they had internet petitions back then, DaVinci might have actually painted something half decent. Unfortunately, we're left with his "clean and shinny" mona lisa and it's just too bright and shinny for me.
Excellent work with the touch up. Send word to have all his paintings redone.

What Diablo 3 really needs is a flashlight feature. You press F, and you sheath your weapon, and whip out a flashlight, so you can actually see through the gothic, mature, dark shit-brown fog!

You can't have your weapon AND the flashlight out at the same time, though. That's not a mature feature. P.S no rainbows

Oh yeah now I see your point here, Because clearly comparing Diablo 3 a Pc game to a famous piece of art with totally different intentions and a different target audience proves a good point.
