on a side note ... the game is friggin awesome ... nothing fancy stuck to what worked in the past ..... bloody oath ... finally it taken a decade for a game to actually be any good....... 10/10 from me!!

Try switching to the asia servers, going to see how my ping fares.

EDIT: it works but my character isn't there

I have tried extended mode and 2d surround mode, and this is the best I can manage.

nVidia drivers installed are 301.34 off memory.

I'm running 3 x Alienware AW2310's in Portrait, with GTX 570 SLI on 301.24's and it works in full-screen. I have occasional problems, when a cutscene happens, my screens go black and display no picture - have to reboot, but when 3 screens works, its in full screen and looks beautiful.

Sure you've set your resolution right? Disable bezel correction too... that might help. Disable all AA/AF/other settings in the NVIDIA control panel and let it all go to default.
