blizzard is $80? think i saw some specials on $69 at one point...

probably depends on how your damage multipliers are calculated. different combinations of strength/dexterity etc, damage, and skill bonuses will yield different results, and you cant work it out from just weapon damage alone

Because one minute, OCAUs resident Blizzard Defense Force Lieutenant is telling me to just mind my own game, don't worry about people in the first scenario. So why worry about the second? They're hacking? How does it harm you? If it's so obvious, don't invite them to your games. Hackers are frowned upon so much to warrant an always online connection, but people botting aren't?

It's not as if it was impossible for them to stop the hackers, this was just the easy way out. Things have changed a lot in over a decade, so if they wanted to sell a portion of it as a single player game then it should fucking behave as one.

Either way, enjoy being in the minority.

Nothing will fix the retarded lag spikes us Aussies get, it was never fixed in Diablo 2, won't be fixed in D3.

Meanwhile the co-founders of blizz north went on to create torchlight in only ELEVEN MONTHS with a team of 14, in spite of blizzard's ELEVEN year development of Diablo 3, and now they have Torchlight 2 releasing this year after a 2 year development with SP offline, Co-op & PvP.

Ever since they kicked Blizzard North things have been about the money just like with WoW just because they know they can get away with it.

And you wonder why people are complaining when a company like Blizzard are heading in the direction of EA.

you need to look into how games work out damage multiplication. no data has been released or even reverse engineered on how D3 calculates damage multiplication as of yet, but that screen cap shows several attributes that affect it, i just dont know by how much at this point... kinda been playing the game lol.

i do like how D3 automatically assesses each item as you hover rather than experimentation and calculation.
