i63 Drop rates increased:

The drop rates for high-end items (items level 61-63) have been increased for Acts III and IV of Hell difficulty and Acts I – IV of Inferno difficulty:

The new approximate drop rates are as follows:

Hell – Act III and Act IV

iLvl 61: 9% to 13.9%
iLvl 62: 1.9% to 3.45%
iLvl 63: 0% (no change)

Inferno – Act I

iLvl 61: 17.7% to 23.9%
iLvl 62: 7.9% to 12.6%
iLvl 63: 2.0% to 4.8%

Inferno – Act II

iLvl 61: 18.6% to 23.3%
iLvl 62: 12.4% to 18.6%
iLvl 63: 4.1% to 9.3%

Inferno – Act III and Act IV

iLvl 61: 24.1% to 27.1%
iLvl 62: 16.1% to 21.7%
iLvl 63: 8.0% to 16.3%


Bosses

Bosses are now guaranteed to drop at least 1 Rare item for players with 4 stacks of Nephalem Valor and at least 2 Rare items for players with 5 stacks of Nephalem Valor

Ive played a few games with h2 and his barb tanks any mob because of the block rate and life on hit. I was rolling last night with him on act 2 and i was getting smashed by mobs because of my lack of resist all and zero blk rate.

Othy i found a better weapon last night when i joined a 4 player match

800dps 1 hand sword with 300-450 arcane dps and alot of int which moved my from 16k dps to 18.5k dps.

Play with someone who's very well geared and can kill the co-op boss on their own.

Not likely, gold is being inflated more and more every day due to gold farmers.

I had a shock yesterday. Rolling a demon hunter and playing throughout the day, I had more gold* (double) and way more useful yellows* drop in the first 30 levels than the wizard from 1 to 60.

I knew drop types are dependent on class, but drop rates?

*gold & magic find 5%

its nice they fixed drops rates for A3/A4 but increasing the A1/A2 rates...

i thought i read somewhere that the DH was getting more loot drops dew to glitch on mobs? could be bogus or pure luck though.

Most likely because to progress to 3/4 they needed better loot to drop on 1/2?

IMHO the monk, I hear it get's trashed.

Starting a new class, I'm actually enjoying the (maxed out) blacksmith now. Each level up I go and make 10 items to get an 'upgrade' no AH required. Not sure its workable at level 60 though, the plans cost way more than I want to spend (8-15 million ?#!#!).
