About to start a hardcore character, I wouldn't mind a new TV so hopefully I hit at least level 20 before I die due to lag and punch a hole in it

I quite enjoy the loot runs, a little bit more endgame would be fun but it's fine.

I'm just trying to counter the point that those of us who have finished Inferno must have been exploiters or took advantage of the early economy. I did neither, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Finished Inferno pre-1.0.3 (Diablo Kill 17/06) and was never really that interested in progression anyway (had sat at Diablo for at least a week without even attempting him).

uhhh... it's very easy to farm now, especially with the increased droprates. Gold/magic find gear is cheap enough at about 200k-500k a piece, when you get that sorted its just about getting lucky and putting the time in.

WOW WTF is happening right now? Lol just as I start a HC character, I've been bombarded by rubberbanding and ridiculous lag spikes. According to general chat I'm not the only one either. Luckily I'm still just at the start of act 1 normal so haven't died yet

wow, had no idea 2h weapons were so much cheaper than 1h... near doubled my dps for a 50k -3 level (only needed -2) ilvl63 with 1043dps. bargain!

Yeh, don't even bother going there anymore. Much easier to just farm act 1/2 since the clouds no longer drop anything decent and are no longer affected by MF.

Finally got to inferno yesterday.

Took me while. I just played through the whole game with my barb. I never played a level at one difficulty twice. Anytimes I kept dieing I just got cheap gear off the gold AH.

But I realise now that I cant get anymore cheap items, and they first mob I got to in the catherderal made me die over and over in seconds. I can't afford to get any decent gear right now. Just did a run through seigebreaker and azmodan in Hell and get nep stack of 5 straight away and got loads of rares, but they were all shit exept one 600dps crossbow that works on a level 53 demon hunter, which is only worth like 100k

This is my char, so far. I couldnt even get close to dieing in hell act 3 just before but I instant die in inferno act 1 so what the hell am I missing here?

you need more hp and AR and a better shield at 20% block +

you need the following.

kick ass shield like more then 35% block
over 700 resistance to all.
over 40k hp
maybe mire dps but that not as improtant then life on hit with high res all.

basically forgot assalt you need to tank and play a more tank/defense with barb. resistence is key plus life on hit so you never get you health down to much.

also look at imcreasing you attack speed so loh is quicker. lile a dagger with an ias of 1.6 is better then 1.20 even if that weapon is better on dps. just take you longer to kill mobs thats all.
