Get more vitality and armor. I just breezed through act 1 inferno with my barb, only used found items or less than 100k AH items, about the same dps but 30k hp and 7k armor. Shitloads easier than my wizard that's for sure. What follower you using? I'm using enchantress and she does about 4.5k dps on top of mine which helps a lot. Go with life regen if you can't afford LOH

Got a bit of a weird issue... my life regen per second is 118 (L48 wiz), but when i'm standing about after a fight it only seems to tick at 59 and 78 alternating?

Is there something i'm missing with the health regen thing?

EDIT: actually, it occours to me that the green numbers might tick quicker than once per second... might just be that.

def more vit and str man ... dps isnt that important ... you need more hp and resist to live longer so you can deal dmg over time ... if you can do a lot of dps and have high str and vit then good for ya or else stick to living longer

manou12#6664 is my battle tag ass me i might have some of my old gear still which might be good for you depending on youy gear ...

*hurr*.

Increased my stats today on my wizard.

42k hp, 27k damage w/ glass cannon (i do run with sparkflint, force weapon, and pinpoint barrier to bring me up to 37k though), ~300 resists, 4k armor. I also have 111% GF. Basically bumped up 25% damage, 100 resists, most of the GF and 1k armor.

Act 2 is still not happening. Its less of a joke now (I struggled on trash, now i cruise through them) but a half-decent elite pack wrecks me.

I might play around with my skills, see if i can move forward. Really over farming Act 1 - although made 5m in drops today (whch funded the bump) over 4 runs.

I think i might sink the next load of cash into my barb, see if i can progress. Essentially I have 2 characters at the Act 2 wall, although my Barb could probably push through since 1.0.3. I haven't persevered like i did pre-1.0.3 but being stuck there for a week or two did a lot to crush my enthusiasm.

Tough choices..

My brother found the lower dps one tonight as was all upset because it had low damage and rolled strength. I said I'd take it off his hands:

Still not sure which to use though..crit chance is sitting at 37.5%. Certainly 350% crit makes some big numbers pop on the screen.

Its a BIS ring for Barbs, also you got a very very very good roll with stats on yours, vit + socket + armor = awesome.

Expect it to go for 20-30mil easily.

They all roll armour and vitality. Has rolled pretty decently on the armour though. His random rolls were the socket (good), and life after kill (bad). His estimate is about right.

35% block, rofl. I'm still using a 16% block shield on act 3. It's highest priority on my upgrade list but don't wanna upgrade until I find something really good. That said, I'm not really having any survivability issues either - act 3 is just boring and slow compared to 1 and 2.
