I saw JB was selling import games, and they had Alice: Madness Returns for $19. There was nothing else which interests me right now.

Very frustrating platform game, but theres DLC on it with trophies so I might try for that too (not needed for Platinum though)

Yeah I'm swaying more to PC if possible these days, gfx are getting too dated on the ps3, bad textures, no AA or AF makes me sad.

Only buying PS3 exclusives and sports/racing games now.

well i bought Alice: Mad Returns because a lot of reviews were saying the game screws with your mind - i believe them now, coz there's some very weird shit going on in this game lol

Have fun with Alice as it's a long one. Thankfully some can be glitched but it's a still a tough grind. Just wait until you get to the pedophilia references if you thought the game was a bit screwy now.

I've more or less given up on trophy whoring. Money needs to be diverted into higher priority things currently so I haven't bought anything since Diablo III and I'm still playing through Skyrim on PS3. I've grabbed Infamous 2, LBP2 and Space Marine off the PSN as they are free to Aussie PSN+ subscribers but I think I'll only play them for the game itself. I've still gotta get MGS:HD Collection as that will be fun for completion. I did MGS4 atleast 6-7 times through and obtained top rank and there weren't any trophies for that.

yeh it is a screwy storyline...i'm nearing the end of the game now.

Trophy hunting doesnt cost me that much financially - once i platinum a game, i'll sell it. it's more time thats costing me

Platinum #41 - Alice: Madness Returns

Finished off the collectibles with a guide tonight, game is frustrating in some areas, but it's trippy and is not for kids lol

gotta finish the DLC to get to 100%...currently only on 84%

Not a bad game at all, SP campaign is a tad short, MP is pretty lame though
still a good game though

I am currently playing Cars 2 hahah. such easy going fun in between hardcore BF3 pwning.

ARGH NOOOOOOOOOO!

I already got the Big Boss rank ages ago and that had a large leadup. That means I'm going to have to go back through and relearn the game again and that took 4 runs before I was comfortable. The crying wolf fight I managed to luck through in 1-2 goes but it's still painful trying to dodge all those frog soldiers.

EDIT: So far I've played it through at least 6 times.
