Default I put my iPhone through the wash today !!

I have a nearly year old iphone. Cracked the screen a few weeks after I got it and have just been waiting until it dies completley before I got a new one.

Anyway got home from work the other night dead tied and put clothes in the washing machine without thinking. I was just about to get into bed when I remembered my iPhone in my pocket. Raced in lifted the lid hunted around and pulled it out of my pocket.... DEAD. Spent maybe 10mins on wash cycle.

Oh well. Pulled it apart yesterday with instructions off the net. Full of water it was. Let it dry for a day and put it back together. Works fine

Just FYI

I would say the glass is broken but not the digitizer part. When I took it apart I could lift a few pieces of the glass out.

Touch works fine even over the cracks. I would say a third of my screen has cracks through it from hitting the concrete.
