hi i bought my laptop a c700 jus so i can do word docs for uni, but since ive started uploading my cds into it im kinda running out of hd space... i can get a portable hd but i think its too much of a hassle yet i need the extra hd space.
can u guys tell me wether it is possible and also where to buy a bigger one so i can replace my miniscule 60gig hd? |

depends on the laptop...
find out if its Sata or IDE.. then open up and replace... most laptop hdds are fairly easy to replace.. MSY have cheap laptop hdds |

They take a 2.5" SATA hard drive. Should be very simple to swap it over to a new drive
![]() Best thing to do is take the current one out and take it to a computer store if you are unsure.

I'd suggest buying a new HDD, and ghosting the image over from your current HDD over to the new one.
