Yeah. Well, $109 + post seems like a decent price, unless better headphones can be found. I'm on a tight budget atm, this price is just under.

For $140 I think you can get better headphones than the DT231's @ $109

Need Snufkin in here for a proper appraisal of the situation

I think i can see why...

Any preference for open or closed? Given the source you're probably better off staying under budget imo, unless you plan on upgrading from onboard in the future.

Well, i want the sound to stay all in my head, i mainly wanted a decent headset for some games coming out so i can fully just zone into them. I guess, if you guys can give me a sum-up of the best headphones, which some have been mentioned (thanks) then i can hold out till i build my monies back up.

Looking @ the Beyerdynamic DTX800 that headpiece might be a good option.
