Question 6110 Navigator - Export contacts to a GPS

Hi All,

I need to export preferably using bluetooth the contacts in my 6110N to my new Nuvi 760 GPS. The 760 pairs with the phone and I can use the voice dial from the GPS to make a call.

Problem is, although the phone/gps are working at that level I cannot get the phone book to move over to the GPS. Don't know why. One suggestion on the net is to send the contacts either 1 by 1 or all using bluetooth to the GPS.

Help ! I would like to be able to have the contact list on the GPS screen as well.

Thanks,
Jim

yeah, if your nuvi will accept it, just send them all at once using gps. go to your phonebook, go options > mark > mark all, then go options > send > via bluetooth..... see if that works

Aratama_Bashi

I can go Contacts -> Options -> Mark -> Mark All

then I go Options but no Send option in the list. There is a copy option and I copied then to the memory card. Where would I find that file to maybe send it via bluetooth ?

Jim

MIGHT have it, will advise...

WooHoo got it, will provide details later.
