Thanks Mitsi, but my photos have been lifted by lots of people and put on
about 20 sites that I know of. The point is on some of these sites the pics look terrific, so probably don't need any more. ![]() http://www.itrends.dk/6067/ http://www.casemodblog.com/?p=2495 Thank you to everyone thats replied and commented. Way too many toreply to individually. Some questions answered: How much does it weigh? Well I had to measure the case in three parts because it wouldn't fit on the scales. ![]() And it came to.......22.3Kgs. :jawdrop: But in normal day to day use it's not a problem at all. The feet have felt pads on them and the case slides around easily on my desk if the need arises to get to the back panel. No more parts will be anodised. The case is finished, but to be honest I could easily work on it for many more months. I'm not completely happy with the front panel lifting mechanism, it is not sturdy enough and I don't particularly like the action, but I've drawn a line in the sand and no more work will be done. How much did it cost? No idea. But probably a lot. Some people requested wallpaper, here are two I really like (The top third of the case is my favorite). These are suitably abstract enough to make a good background and quality is good also. They are 1920x1200 made for my 24inch monitors. ![]() ![]() When first starting up CX1 the lighting on top was not working. ![]() So a bit of investigating was required to find the problem. ![]() It turned out to be the alignment of the lower rail magnets. Just undid the two fixing screws and re-aligned them, now all is good. ![]() Some photos of CX1 in use. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, and it's really quiet. ![]() I should be starting something new in the new year, see you then. :dremel: |

Put a video of it on Youtube
![]() It could be a simple video done with a digital camera even. Given you'd have to be proud of it, it would be cool to show it off at a site that gets the number of hits Youtube gets and extend its fame and following.

Dude. all i can say is AMAZING.
that is one of the BEST cases i have ever seen. You should forward it to a manafacturer. i'm sure there will be huge demand for it. but then it won't be one of a kind |
