Well, here I am again.
I have finally decided to try watercooling again as its been biting at me for a while, well since i gave up watercooling last time. This time, i have promised to do it right and i have started fresh with a new PC and some decent WC hardware to match. My last attempt was a Apogee waterblock, MCR320, Yate Loon fans and a Eheim 1046? It looked good but i was never going to fit everything in my case. Enough talk, here is what i plan to cool: E8400 Gigabyte EP45-DS4P 4GB DDR2-800 Patriot 1TB Samsung Sata 3x 500GB Samsung Sata BFG 8800GTS 512 OC DVD Burner Antec Quattro 850w Lian Li V2100+ Black BenQ E2200HD 1920x1080 native res And i have this to help me do that: DTek Fuzion V1 PA120.3 PA120.2 EK-FC88GT/GTS Full Cover block Dangerden T-Line Res Laing D5 I was very fortunate to win Simwah's old case, rads and res in his current for sale thread on our very own forums. This has given me a great base to start my build on. No pics yet as I have only just received the EK block in the post today but will be picking up the Case this weekend from Brisbane (roadtrip ftw) Really looking forward to finally doing WC again and actually doing it right. I have tried the budget way first and that failed. Expect some progress to occur early next week when everything i have ordered arrives ![]() Cheers forkus Last edited by OhFoRkMe; 2nd October 2008 at 3:01 PM. |

Small update:
Picked up everything from Simwah this morning, very pleasant sale and had a good discussion ![]() Finally got home after being ordered to go shopping at Indro at about 4pm. Did a quick build on air as i am waiting for some parts from PCCG, got windows installed by 5:30pm and then GF time started and i havnt looked at it since. Took some photos during my air build which i might put up later tomorrow, though i will take photos again when i finish the loop. Lastly, need to decide on how the loop should run, argh, decisions

Thanks guys,
AAE guys should be delivering some other goods this morning from PCCG. Waiting on: 10x 3pin Extension Cable 1x Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound 3M Swiftech Tubing 7/16" 1x EZ Power Supply Tester with Voltage LCD Display 1x Corsair HX-620 620W Power Supply 1x Zalman Multi Fan Controller Plus Black 1x Laing D5 Vario 12V Pump 6x AC Ryan SATA Cable 75cm Black Got a PSU Tester and a Corsair HX-620 as i am having some issues with the Quattro 850w and it not giving enough power to the video card. PSU Tester to test it and HX in case i need to RMA it. Fan extension cables for cable routing and managment to the Fan Controller. AS5...well because its AS5. 3M of Tubing, i know its alot but i know myself and measuring. Rather have more than less. Laing D5 because its going to be quite interesting without it. 75cm Sata cables for routing and cable management. I hate waiting for stuff to come

Sounds good. Im using the same fan controller, neat little unit.
As for deciding on the run, i banged up a quick diagram of the case in MS paint and came up with about 5 possible loops... passed the time when waiting for bits anyways lol. |

![]() lol quick image in paint at work. Been speaking to DRAGONKZ as well on msn and i think i might run with his suggestion of: Pump > PA120.3 > CPU > PA120.2 > GPU > Pump Just checked AAE Track and Trace. The package has just been picked up by local driver
