So seeing and understanding what makes an MMO game successful and imitating (flattery) those concepts is a crime against game-manity?

Every MMO that has ever been developed has taken aspects of the previous MMOs that have come before them and incorporated/improved into their own. They will also add a new concept of their own into the game. Their new idea along with the integration of everyone else's successful ideas together is what they hope to make their MMO successful.

I enjoyed Kotor 1 and 2... That alone will be enough to get me to give this game a shot.

I'm comparing it to what Blizzard does. They don't break the mold, they perfect it.

I don't know how you can say it looks unoriginal and then say you're hanging out for GW2 - it looks great but hardly innovative...

Not at all... I completely understand where Adaris is coming from with the 'perfecting the standard' concept... however I don't feel like that is what is happening. In fact it looks much more like a step down... in the way that all the F2P WoW clones are. It just looks and feels 'cheap'.

In what ways?

From what I've seen, they're one of the first non-sandbox games to actually encourage roleplay within the confines of the storyline, rather than have Shamans and Death Knights poison food supplies of the Alliance or defile some graves regardless of backstory or morals.

Plus... it's Star Wars!

None yet - but the only indication was "after financial year" for Bioware. Which would mean some time post July.

Likely they'll try to get it in before Christmas to catch in on the Christmas gift rush.

How to kill a Jedi?

Blast'im or lure them into a trap. It happens a lot in the movies.

When you've caught a Jedi, dont talk to them. Shoot them in the head!

Hope they don't release in Nov when BF3 and MW3 drop, might effect potential subscription numbers.

Awesome new trailer here:

http://www.swtor.com/media/trailers/return

Why couldn't Bioware have made the prequel movies instead of George Lucas

Well, I'm most likely going to pick this up... Hopefully I can avoid endgame content, I always hated raiding in WoW... I'll have my fun, levelling my toon, then I'll move onto something else... That's the plan anyway
