![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() just finished optimising this rig today, whoever said money cant buy happiness didnt know how to build a sik rig and OC it lol! possibly there is a bit more juice in her but i reached the 30000 mark in 3dmark06 so i am happy there. plays amra 2 maxed (what i made this rig for) but AA on normal and i get 58FPS on benchmark 1, 60 is max. have to say thanks to OCAU members who help me over the last 6 months, and to think 6 months ago i couldnt figure out how to get my q8200 to hit 2.8 haha temps on gpuz screenshot are max values during a 3dmark06 run, no sweat there. temps on cpu dont break low 70's under 100% (200blckx23) running 4.6ghz coz its not a 24/7 rig and i wasnt happy with 4.2 at 1.125v coz i just could done that with a 920. so currently at 4.6 1.34v i think under load specs i7 950 4.6 (200x23) ht off giga x58a ud7 xfx 5970 (850, 1000) intel 80gb ssd g2 corsair hx 1000 1600 corsair dom gt 7-7-7-20 fan controller antec 300 (window cut, drive bays cut for 5970 room, square cut behind processor for easy access to cpu block) water apogee XT ek ud7 block ek 5970 block swif mcp655 swif high flo res silver 2x PA 120.2 and now to build my cousins rig... Heres my i5 setup. The reason for the fan pulling air through my CPU HS is that in the first 4 weeks it was pushing air though quite a bit of dust built up between the fan and the HS, and i decided I didnt want to have to remove the fan every 3-4 weeks, so now when the dust starts to build up its easy to clean
![]() PS. I know its a cable management fail. :P ![]()

Hi All,
I have just finished rebuilding my system from an AMD to an i7, After all the BSOD's I needed a change and while doing some searching on the i7's and overclocking results, google pointed me to here. Heres a few pics of my system, I am just running stock speed's ATM as I just finished the rebuild yesterday. My full specs are in my sig. Cheers. ![]()

Now was that so hard? Maybe save ur post for after you get a picture. I know you're excited with your new 'puter, but calm down and take a picture like a good little boy.
![]() EDIT: I do get pissy because I'm subscibed to this thread. I'm subscribed because I like to look at other's people's rigs. I don't want to get a notification every time some n00b blows his load over the new PC daddy bought him and plasters specs on every thread he comes across. Pics boys pics.
