It runs fine, the 9800GT is a 'Green Edition' so it doesn't require a connection to the PSU, runs from the power supplied by the PCI-E slot.
I've got my i7 920 @ 4Ghz, a 1TB Spinpoint + 1.5TB Seagate, Optical, 2x5770s, EX58-UD4P Mobo and 6GB Ram running from it without issues.. It can get a bit warm when under load but other then that it's great I'd say you'd be fine, my system probably only pulls 450-500Watts, plus the P55 platform is more power efficient then X58. |
