Default Overclocking a laptop?

Sorry, but I was unsure whether to put this tread in the Overclocking forum of this one. I went out on a limb and just stuck it here. I have a dell Inspiron 6400 laptop that I would like to overclock. I am buying a new desktop PC soon, and the warranty on this laptop expired ages ago, so I want to push it as hard as I can for the last few weeks I have it. The specs are as follows:
Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 @ 1.66Ghz
2Gb 667Mhz RAM
160Gb Samsung HDD
ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 128Mb

I am an absolute noob at overclocking, and I am unaware if it is even possible to OC a laptop, so be kind.
Thanks!

The graphics card should be easy to oc, just google overclocking ati cards.
The CPU is trickier, it'll involve getting a program to adjust the clock. You might have to google for this too, I don't know the specifics.

Normally to O/C the CPU you'd need to modify the FSP/multiplier in the BIOS. I'm pretty sure you can't do this with the standard Dell BIOS though.

There's a setting to do it in the MSI Wind, but I imagine they are a bit more tinker-friendly than Dell.
