Default Asus F3JP-AP002P RAM & HDD upgrade

Hi

I have an Asus FJ3P-AP002P laptop with 1GB of DDR2 ram and an 80GB SATA HDD, which I am looking at upgrading. I have heard that this model only supports up to 2GB of ram, and up to a 160GB HDD. I have been unable to find anything on the Asus website that can confirm this.

Also, as this model only has a SATA1 HDD, would a SATA2 HDD work? I was under the impression that SATA2 is backwards compatible.

I am planning on buying the 320GB WD Scorpio HDD and either 2 x 1GB or 2 x 2GB sticks of PC2-5300 Kingston RAM.

Any light that anyone could shed on this would be appreciated

Michael
