Default Dell Christmas Sale - save $1400!

http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/prod...n&s=dhs&~tab=3

Save up to $1400 off the Studio 17 - that's a decent saving!
Other savings off the Studio range are available too.

Really?

Considering that it has a C2D T9400, 4gig RAM, 1Tb HDD (2x 500Gb)
The price isn't too bad.

Coupon will give you an extra 8% off (~$200)
Code:
C85MV6$$TDNQBJ
Also I have got a quote for the following

Personal Notebook R511228AU - Dell™ Studio 17 Laptop Discrete
as per website with the addition of
Blu-Ray Combo
TV Tuner and Remote
Bluetooth Travel Mouse
at the same price of $2499

This is thru one of the sales rep and he said I was unable to apply further discounts.

Enter in Dells Christmas Promotion competition and instead receive an 10% discount rather than your 8% you mentioned above.

Hmmm maybe they just spec'd the crap out of them then. Pretty sure when I was looking at them a week ago they started off a lot cheaper.

I would prefer the lower specced models in the outlet at the moment for half those prices:

Kinda hoping that my refurb unit has been lost by the courier (was supposed to be delivered last friday!) so I can get a refund and get a new laptop from the dell outlet at a similar price.

Please sweet black baby jesus make my laptop in transit be lost!

Big thanks for this code, a lady at my work wanted a Laptop, bought the Studio 17 for around $1300, her son wanted to play Spore, so I think this will be adequate.
